All levels. Learning Objectives for each program are available upon request.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers, Play Therapists, School Counselors, Psychologists, Students, and Interns. Additionally, professionals interested in learning more about Gestalt Play Therapy for children and Adolescents. Training hours apply for CAMFT licensure through BBS and registration as a Registered Play Therapist through APT.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

A certificate of attendance documenting acquired CEs will be provided after the receipt of the program evaluation on the final day of each training. No credit is given for partial attendance.

TRAINING FEE

Fees can be paid through the WCI website using PayPal or by check made payable to West Coast Institute and mailed to 723 E. Locust Ave., #120, Fresno, CA 93720. Financial assistance information will be sent upon request after registration for the training. A non-refundable deposit for each program is required with registration and is necessary to secure your space. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks (4 weeks for intensvie programs) before the start of the training.

LODGING

Costs for travel, lodging, and food (for in-person programs) are not included in the training fee.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Cancellation notices must be received at least 2 weeks (4 weeks for intensive programs) in advance of the program starting date. Notification must be in writing to WCI. With this notice, paid fees can be refunded or applied to a future program if available for registration. If, for any reason, WCI cancels a program, all payments will be refunded. WCI is not responsible for any travel or lodging expenses due to cancellations.

GROUP DISCOUNTS

Discounts received for group registrations are contingent upon each member of the group making the full deposit payment. Once all deposits are paid, a discount code will be issued to all group members towards their remaining balances. Should group member(s) cancel or not complete any remaining balance for any reason, leaving only one individual as part of the group, the discounted amount will be payable by the remaining member for their individual registration.

Conflict of Interest

The programs of the West Coast Institute have no conflict of interest with any parties and receive no commercial support.

COVID-19 Safety 

**FOR IN-PERSON TRAININGS** WCI continues to value and respect the health of our participants. With that in mind, WCI expects that, should any COVID-19 symptoms/positive tests be experienced at any time during the event, symptomatic individuals will follow the current CDC isolation/quarantine/masking guidelines. Additionally, any local masking requirements and event- or location-specific protocols in effect at the time of the event will also be required. WCI is not responsible for any costs incurred, travel disruptions, non-completion of the training, or any other impacts due to COVID-19/illness. Partial credit cannot be given.

Grievance Policy

The West Coast Institute for Gestalt Therapy with Children and Adolescents, LLC (WCI) is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict compliance with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content, and in the treatment of program participants. If any registrant has special needs, please indicate them at the time of registration. WCI will do its best to anticipate problems and, if they present themselves, will work to alleviate or resolve complaints as quickly as possible. Direct communication of any difficulties to the workshop leader or the WCI assistant is requested and will be addressed respectfully.

Additional Information

Information regarding financial assistance, training schedules, lodging, and transportation to and from airports (for in-person programs) will be provided to all registrants upon confirmation of registration. All programs and materials, unless otherwise stated, are in English. 

Recording

No recording of presentation material, workshops, trainings, lectures, etc., will be provided to or permitted by attendees.​​​

Liability

The West Coast Institute for Gestalt Therapy with Children and Adolescents, LLC (WCI), provides professional development workshops and training in the theory and practice of Gestalt Therapy with children and adolescents. WCI trainees maintain all clinical, legal, and ethical responsibility and liability for providing care to their clients.
