Using Projective Cards to Build Rapport and Explore Adolescent Identities Projective cards have a mystical quality, often being tied to ideas well beyond our awareness. This workshop aims to demystify this process and explore how to use this strategy with adolescents. We will take a glimpse at what literature reveals on the uses of projective cards and why exploring identity can be useful for teens. In an increasingly digital world, we’ll consider how to use cards in sessions with clients online and in person. We will preview a few common sets of cards and explore projective cards in a Gestalt play therapy approach. Much of this workshop will focus on practice to improve practical skills.
